For all of the Department of Housing and Urban Development Listings, also known as HUD  go to WWW.HUDHOMESTORE.com and click on Florida, then search by city or county, please notice on this site that HUD rates the house in 3 categories: (IN) meaning that the property qualifies for FHA financing as it is,(IE) meaning some work will be needed to qualify for FHA financing, or (UN) meaning the house is only available for cash or conventional financing. If you find a house or have any questions then contact me to show you any of the homes and I can guide you through the process and submit an offer on the property for you.

How do you purchase a HUD home?

I only work with pre approved buyers, If your serious about buying then lets get to work.

If you are a CASH buyer you will need to have proof of funds to submitt your offer, that can be as simple as a bank statement or investment statement showing you have the funds to be able to purchase the house. 

If you are using Financing you will need to have a letter from a Lender that says that you have been preapproved for a loan amount high enough that would allow you to purchase the house.  You can contact your bank or credit union, or you can contact Michael Lara at Wells Fargo online

After getting your pre approval letter or proof of funds, you will need a Chashiers check or money order made payable to HUD, if your bid is $50,000. or less the amount is $500.00 if the bid is $50,001 or higher the amount of the check will be $1,000. 

Then it is just a little more paper work to finish the bid packet which I will help you with and then I submit the offer, if the house  is in the daily bid status we should find out the next business day if they have accepted the offer or not.
